Andy Duncan, 28 year old Post-Doctoral scientist, originally from Glasgow, now resident in London. With 12 years motorcycling experience, I started racing in the ACU Supermono Championship in 2006. This is a prototype class, for single cylinder motorcycles. In fact it is the last remaining prototype class outside of MotoGP. In 2006 I rode my lightly tuned roadbike, a 1987 Yamaha SRX. I developed this for the 2007 season, as can be seen in accompanying photos. At time of writing, I am currently 4th in the UK Supermono Aircooled Championship, and the newly formed "Team-Thumper" plans to build a new bike for the 2008 Championship.
